Swart Amplifier Co was founded on a simple principle: Everything revolves around great tone!

And where there is great tone, there are VALVES; no solid state devices need apply. Rectification is by valve, not harsh sounding solid-state diodes. Finally, there is something that equals the heyday of valve amplifiers, with quality point to point wired circuits using excellent iron and parts that don't leech the harmonics from the stream. Swart Amplifier Co brings harmonic richness and warmth, rendering solid state amplification sterile. Employing custom modifications of classic circuits featuring point to point wiring, Class A bias, tube rectification, and PP & Single-Ended output, we aim to bring great tone to the forefront again....

Hand wired by Michael Swart and his team in North Carolina, Swart amps have become an instant classic used by Jeff Tweedy, Buddy Miller and Greg V. Inspired by vintage American & British tones of old, Swart amps feature beaufiful clean's & when cranked overdrive the way you want em too. The unique valve spring reverb circut is the bomb too, lush, full and spacious.Turn the volume down low & crank the verb & you get instant reverb tank joy, yet to hear a reverb this good on any other amps.

Our favorites here at the 555 are the little ATOMIC JNR with the 8" Weber speaker, ideal for jamming at home, the recording studio or even small gigs. The ATOMIC SPACE TONE is a hit too the perfect amp to rock out with 25 watts via dual 6V6's, reverb and trem with a USA made MOJO BV-25 speaker all in a combo that fits behind the back seat.
All Swart Amps sold through 555 come with a 240 volt transformer (an additional cost to us) installed by Swart and we honor a 12 month warranty in Australia with 90 days on Valves.
