THE NEW GOLDEN AGE PRE 73 "MKII"

What's Changed? 

• The new Pre 73 MkII features an insert jack added on the back panel for use with EQ's or Compressors.
• LED meter levels have been adjusted.
• 600 Ohm termination resistor and jumper added to the power supply board.
• A revised gain switch, turning the knob clockwise is now increasing the gain.
• Reduced noise at high gain by changing the power supply grounding scheme.

the new Pre-73 MKII has been improved with a lower noise floor, greater dynamic range and an added rear-panel insert for EQ and dynamics processing. The Golden With separate transformers for the balanced mic input, line input and the output - similar to the circuit you would find in the Neve 1073 preamp/EQ. Plus, the output level control makes it possible to overload the main gain stage for more character and then lower the signal to avoid peaks hitting your digital converters.
