3 Monkeys - Orangutan Head
The Orangutan is a rare and strange beast. It was designed to hark back to the great sounds of 70s rock but all the while still intending to have a personality of it's own. In this amp you will find clean tones that shimmer and overdriven tones that are smooth and lush.
What's really unique about the Orangutan is how the volume dial interacts with the the six position voice switch which alters the gain structure and tone as you rotate through the settings. Other features include the 'Lift' switch which acts as bass boost and the 'Treble' as a hi end cut. Add the sweet, focused reverb (ROOM switch) and you've got the perfect amp.

"The folks at 3 Monkeys have obviously put a lot of thought into what the performing and recording guitarist might need. The Orangutan is probably not for jazz or metal, but if a variety of classic rock flavors is what you seek, this tube-powered primate could be your best new friend."
